We are please to announce the inaugural Sherpa MTB Challenge, a primer mountain biking event that will be held as part of the three day Losar Festival from 14th to 16th February 2026 at Anden Walung Monastery premises. This event is designed to celebrate and preserve Sherpa culture and Heritage while promoting adventure and wellness tourism in the region.

The Sherpa MTB challenge aims to foster cross - culture exchange, encourage sustainable tourism, and build meaningful connections. 

THE ROUTE: A SCENIC JOURNEY
Embark on a 30-kilometer fun ride from the vibrant village of Daramdin to the serene and sacred Anden Walung Monastery. This accessible route is perfect for riders seeking a flowing adventure—featuring a smooth track with gentle elevation gain, no severe downhill sections, and a consistently stunning panorama.

·Race Date: 16th February, 2026
·Registration & Briefing: 15th February, 2026 at the Festival Office.
·Registration Fee: ₹ 2,000/- only. This includes:
·Day 1: Accommodation and dinner.
·Day 2: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a comfortable stay in a local homestay near the event.
